On this week’s solo episode, Melissa goes into another very important area of health, mental health and mindset. It can be easy to fall into negativity, so Melissa talks about ways to practice mindfulness to be a light for yourself and for others.
Key Points From This Episode:
03:37 Gratitude and Positivity
07:48 Support and Overall Wellness
12:34 Mindfulness and Thoughts
Gratitude and Positivity
Practice gratitude everyday. Name three things that you are grateful for, they can be similar or totally different, but make sure you do it because there are always things to be grateful for. Focus on the positive. It’s easy to fall into negativity, but there’s something good you can take out of even the most challenging situation.
Support and Overall Wellness
Surround yourself with positivity and people who are supportive. Spread that positivity and do your best to lift others up. Take care of yourself physically, emotionally, and mentally to be the best version of you. When you are feeling good, you are able to spread that energy.
Mindfulness and Thoughts
Practice mindfulness, be present and fully engaged in the moments you are in. This will help you be aware of how you are reacting and responding. Think about what you are saying and what impact you will have. Swap your negative thoughts for positive ones, and this will eventually become a habit.
