Highs and Lows

Steven starts out by speaking about going through a low point in his life when he found out his grandfather had Alzheimer’s. This led him to start analyzing human experiences and navigating ups and downs. From this, he came up with his product idea, which represents the different highs and lows that people go through.

Steven mentions that his brand name is similar to a Hawaiian name which represents unity and to blend opposites. It’s about finding a balance between two different things. He talks about business ownership and finding balance, purpose, and passion.

When starting a business, you need the right kind of support. You want to be around people who are going to lift you up and encourage you to keep moving forward. You want to be in an environment of people who also want to succeed to help you elevate your drive.

Family, friends, fitness, and health are big priorities in Steven’s life, and he wants others to know that you have to find the balance between business and what is important to you. Taking care of yourself and finding that balance will help you be a better person in life and a better leader in business. Balance is also the driving force behind his second business, Elements.

Steven talks about how now is one of the best times in history to start a business. He recommends going after it, asking for help where you need it, and getting a good understanding of the path in front of you. It’s not going to be easy, but if you have passion and are willing to work for it, you can make it happen.
