So there I was, putting my card details in online, thinking what am I doing? Do I have this in me? And what will Mick say when I told him I signed up to be an online coach...

Just under 12 years ago, I was sitting just like you thinking about doing something which I knew could change my life. Little did I know it would give me the opportunity to retire my husband, support my kids financially as they find their way, and give me the opportunity to make so many friends, and feel a part of something big.

So while I know you might be a little anxious - I'm so excited to give you the opportunity to learn a little bit more about what I do, and for us to make a plan to get you to where you want to be - whether that be making an extra $500 a month, or creating a 6 or 7 figure income.

So first lets talk income 

This is one of those things I don't like to talk about too much, but I know too many of us live paycheck to paycheck and I know when I started we were tight every month - Mick used to work 7 days a week at a Car place, so with that in mind, I want you to see what you CAN achieve if you commit time and put some work in.

Of course there are no guarantees, but I would say people I mentor make money a lot quicker than I did. I went through the learning processes, the growth of Beachbody and while I started in June 2008, January is always a good month to compare.

Now remember these are my earnings in the month of January, not my annual earnings - and this doesn't include bonuses I received.

I share this not to be bragadocious - but to say - if this introverted stay at home mom can make this work, can get healthier and can earn more - you too can do it. 

And what's crazy is that most women hit an income glass ceiling, based on their skills, and that's just not the case here, you can keep growing and keep earning.

Now I've been doing this for a long time, in fact no coach has been Top 10 more times than me, or Elite as many times as me, so I teach my team how to build a sustainable long term business.

BUT MY HUSBAND ISN’T ON BOARD…

Mick mocked me when I got my first check (about $20) that I could buy the pizza this week...

I remember feeling unsupported as I got started, but his mind soon changed. 

A couple of years into being a coach, I told him what I was making and asked could he quit his job he told me - "that's not quite enough yet" - but I could tell he was impressed, he then told me the figure I needed to get to , so I could make that happen, and a year later he quit. 

Now Mick certainly helps with the business, but he also gets to live a life of his dreams (primarily involving motorbikes, cars, and extreme sports! - many with husbands of other coaches! )

So if your husband boyfriend doesn't believe in the opportunity, ask them if they believe in you, and then SHOW them what you can do!

Honestly at 45 I'm in better shape than I was at 30, and it's for two reasons:

#1 I've become a nutrition junkie, I read constantly and study how our bodies work (and of course I share it with my team), and so I've hacked my way to my best body ever! 

#2 I'm held accountable by my business, don't get me wrong, I'll eat a doughnut, I'll drink a glass of wine, but 90% of the time I'm on plan because people want to work with somebody who can help them be successful, and me being consistent shows that.

Here's some amazing transformations from our team!

As you can see our team is diverse, some people have 20lbs to lose, some have 100lbs to lose, it doesn't matter - show somebody you can lose 10lbs, and if they have 10lbs to lose they'll want to work with you.

#2 OUR TEAM

One of the hardest things about being an adult is finding and keeping good friends, in High School and College, that was easier, but as we get older, it can be so hard.

Coaching has created a huge group of friends and a blossoming community where we all help each other out. 

What does this look like? We help each other, we support each other, we cheer each other on. 

I recently took a group of my leaders to Destin, Florida on an all inclusive trip, we've also been on cruises, and to resorts in the Caribbean, I even took one really successful coach to the Maldives in the middle of the Indian Ocean!

When I was growing up, my dad was always my biggest supporter, unfortunately he died in the Vietnam war, and I lost my biggest supporter, so I foster a team of people helping each other out - being in the corner for somebody who doesnt have the support they need.

SCARED? NERVOUS? I GET IT - I WAS TOO

Too many of our families live paycheck to paycheck, just like Mick and I did, and many more are living unhealthy lives. I personally can't encourage people to work in jobs where they're underappreciated, like most of us are.

Other successful coaches have joined with hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt, left careers in Law, in University, in Medicine, in Teaching and in Nursing.

They were smart cookies who had done the degree, and got the job, but were working and getting nowhere, with no real purpose to their lives. 

So while what I've done is not normal, it's the very reason so many people embrace it and are successful with it.

You deserve more - your family deserves more.
