As a functional nutritionist, I take a holistic approach to dietary counseling and create personalized plans for each patient, based on their unique needs, likes and dislikes, sensitivities, and lifestyle. I believe that food is medicine, and every bite we take can either heal or harm our bodies. I’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of personalized nutrition plans. One of my clients was struggling with chronic fatigue, despite eating a healthy, balanced diet. After a thorough assessment, I discovered that she had a sensitivity to gluten and dairy. By eliminating those foods and adding in nutrient-dense options, she experienced a surge in energy levels and felt like a new person. It’s these moments that remind me why I love what I do.
